Update

Angela Merlo is querying her contemporary young adult fiction novel. She completed her Certificate in Fiction Writing and Lynn Hightower’s Master Class in Novel Writing at UCLA Extension. She plans to publish her debut novel through the traditional route. She is also enrolled in the Screenwriting: Film & TV Comprehensive Certificate Program. 

Goals

Angela’s YA novel features the voice of a Chinese-American female protagonist. Angela is currently working on her second novel and a screenplay. Her goal as a writer is to publish diverse books so that young readers can see themselves in pages, as well as featuring multi-cultural characters in TV & Film. Her fiction works will also be adapted for the screen.
