Angela Merlo
Angela Merlo is a fiction author and screenwriter. She completed her Certificate in Fiction Writing and Lynn Hightower’s Master Class in Novel Writing at the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program. She is currently enrolled in the Screenwriting: Film & TV Comprehensive Certificate Program. She is a writer for Emc2 Entertainment.
Angela has won the BIPOC Scholarship Award offered by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and has attended many writer conferences and book festivals. She has also participated in the Big Sur Children’s Writers Workshop and Gotham Writers Conference.
On her free time, Angela enjoys reading books, watching movies, and visiting theme parks. She lives with her husband and their daughter in Los Angeles, California.
Education
Angela Merlo earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California at Irvine and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Loma Linda University.
