Angela M. Merlo’s contemporary young adult fiction novel is the Winner of the BIPOC Scholarship Award offered by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her short film script “Take Me to the Skies” is a Semi-Finalist in The Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards. She is currently working on her second novel as well as screenplays. Her goal is to feature multi-cultural characters in novels, TV, and film.
